(via 500px / North Face by Mike Smith)An old analogue photo of Mount Robson taken from the trail around Berg Lake in 1992. It's an awe inspiring site and the vastness of the peak is immense. As with many high altitude glaciers, they are currently melting and receding. What you see in the foreground is a moraine, curving from the left in front of the camera. This is debris that has been shovelled along by the glacier and deposited marking the maximum extent of its advance. This itself is an enormous feature.
